Well, we were chuffed to read in Which? this week, how independent opticians came out top in a survey by Which? readers.
Opticare pride ourselves on providing only the very best personal service to all our customers. Its something that is at the core of everything we do in all our branches and to see this reflected in a national survey was a great feeling.
In the survey, which was made up of national brands, independent opticians and online retailers, independent opticians, such as Opticare came top overall. We scored 5/5 in all but 2 categories, with 4/5 in those.
In the survey which said:
“Independents received five stars for customer service, thorough eye-testing, quality products and store environment. A lot of members who use local or independent stores told us they’ve been going to the same one for years and like the personal touch.”
In terms of price, only Asda beat the independents, but they came lower on quality. Which goes to prove you get what you pay for. We work very hard to provide the best quality of frames and lenses whilst keeping costs to a minimum, and with our Optiplan service, glasses are more affordable than ever.
