We are proud to announce that we can now supply Ray-Ban prescription lenses for your Ray-Ban glasses and sunglasses. Available in all our branches; Newark, Nottinghamshire and Anstey, Sileby and Birstall, Leicestershire.

Since launching back in 1937 to protect pilots’ eyes from the sun’s damaging rays, Ray-Ban has always been at the forefront of lens manufacture and now you can now enjoy prescription lenses in your Ray-Bans that look genuine, yet are designed especially for you.
The authentic lenses are customised to your prescription and certified by the engraving of the Ray-Ban logo on the right lens and the ‘RB’ initials on the left lens. Exactly as per the sunglasses directly from the shelf.
The DST lenses are digitally optimised point by point on the back surface. This means you receive high definition vision with greater clarity, a wider field of vision and reduced eye strain.
The new Ray-Ban lenses feature an advanced premium anti-reflective coating on both the internal and external surface. Providing the wearer with greater outer and inner glare reduction, as well as improved antistatic properties.
These days we spend a huge amount of our time looking at screens. From desktops and tablets through to smartphones. The time we spend looking at screens with blue light can be damaging to our eyes. That’s where Ray-Ban prescription lenses blue light filter comes in to play. It reduces blue light exposure, as well as reducing UV exposure and eye strain.
Also available in the range are polarised prescription sun lenses. These shield your eyes from dazzling reflections produced from horizontal surfaces and boast your visual clarity.
To make sure the lenses match your glasses or sunglasses just as you require, the lenses are available in all popular Ray-Ban colours, including the award-winning G-15 (Ray-Ban Green). You also have the option to select Ray-Ban graduated prescription tints and mirrored lenses. With graduated lenses even been available polarised.
All Ray-Ban prescription lenses come with a two-year warranty from date of purchase. This covers both the frame and the new Ray-Ban lenses. If there are any problems with your sunglasses Opticare will deal with the warranty claim on your behalf.
