Our Contact Lens Recycling Programme

Millions of contact lenses are thrown away every year across the UK. Our partnership with ACUVUE® and TerraCycle® on the Contact Lens Recycle Programme, means that all contact lenses brought back to our stores can now be recycled in an effort to save over 3 quarters of a billion contact lenses from landfill sites.

We can recycle contact lenses from any make or brand, as well as accepting the blister packaging they came in and the foil backing.

Alternatives to Plastic Frames

We offer frames made from titanium, stainless steel, and carbon fibre as an alternative to plastic frames. Titanium frames are ideal for sensitive skin and those allergic to certain metals, as well as being lightweight and non-corrosive. Carbon fibre frames are lightweight, tough, and flexible as well as having a sleek and modern look. These are ideal for getting the look of metal eyeglasses but for when you need something hypoallergenic.
